Over these past few months I have been wanting to redo everything in my room all the way to the furniture. I contemplated painting it but I couldn't vision it and thought it might look bad. I have been frantically searching for a french provincial piece to make my vision. Without luck I had finally accepted the fact that this was going to take a while. Tonight as I was scrolling through Facebook as many others do after work, something caught my eye. I saw a picture of my exact bedroom suit painted white with new knobs by a local woman who refurbishes furniture. It was a beautiful set that had life breathed back into it with a fresh coat of paint. I am reminded constantly in the everyday little things that our God is always faithful. Even if it is as little as painting furniture. How great it is to know that our God has a great road mapped out for us, even when the sun is in our eyes he helps us see. Praise you in the storm, Praise you in the sun, Holy are you the almighty one.

Thursday thoughts.
As I sit here this morning stressed out from school, work, and the daily struggle of life we have I am reminded by this quotation to just be still. Forever grateful that the engineer of my heart is God. Even though at times we do not understand where or why he is leading us down paths, he and his timing is perfect!
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.””
